In order to do that, the Holy Defense themes have been extracted from Aminpour’s poems and they have been dissociated in two sections of during and after the Holy Defense and in two definite and connotative meaning eras. Comparing the results, one can see that in early poems, naming themes are initiated by definite selections; but gradually some connotative selections are declared. These connotative selections at the beginning are formed according to traditional and literary culture, and then gradually in the middle years of the Holy Defense it comes to a selection of words according to social issues. In the last years, attention to mystical aspects is seen. In Aminpour’s poems after the Holy Defense, naming is accompanied by a mystical-philosophical viewpoint and naming themes is more abstract.     Keywords: Discourse analysis, Halliday, naming, Holy Defense Poetry, Qeysar Aminpour .   1 .
