چکیده

در پژوهش حاضر، بخشی از متون علمی فیزیک را در دو زبان فارسی و انگلیسی، از‏منظر فرانقش متنی دستور نقش‌گرای نظام‌مند هلیدی بررسی کرده‏ ایم؛ پس‏از تجزیه و تحلیل بند‏ها، ده نوع آغازگر را شناسایی کرده و میزان کار‏برد و فراوانی آن‏ها را نشان داده‏ایم. نتایج پژوهش بیانگر آن است که میزان وقوع آغازگر ساده در کل پیکره، بیش‏از آغازگر مرکب (58 در‏صددر‏برابر 42در‏صد) و آغازگر بی‏نشان، بیش‏از آغازگر نشان‏دار )81 در‏صد در‏برابر نوزده در‏صد) است. در این بررسی، انواع آغازگر‏ها و فراوانی آن‏ها را در دو زبان فارسی و انگلیسی نیز مقایسه کرده و دریافته‏ ایم که میزان استفاده از آغازگر تجربی محذوف و همچنین آغازگر نشان‏دار در زبان فارسی، بیش‏از زبان انگلیسی است؛ اما در انواع دیگر، تفاوت‌هایی اندک دیده می‏شود. در این پژوهش همچنین انواع آغازگر‏ها و میزان استفاده از آن‏ها را در کتاب‏ها و مقاله‏ ها بررسی کرده و نتیجه گرفته‏ ایم که تنوع آغازگر در کتاب‌های فیزیک، نسبت‏به مقاله‌های فیزیک در کل پیکره، بیشتر و بسامد وقوع آغازگر در بیشتر آن‏ها بالا‏تر است

A Study of a Variety of Elliptical and Marked Themes in English and Persian Physics Texts:Halliday’s Systemic Functional Grammar Perspective

چکیده [English]

In the present study, some sections of physics text written in Persian and English were studied based on Halliday’s systemic functional grammar. through a clause analysis, ten types of themes were identified and their frequency and percentage were determined. One of the results showed that 58% of corpus themes were simple, 42% were multiple, 81% were unmarked and 19% were marked. In this study different types of themes and their frequency in Persian and English were also compared. The results indicated that elliptical and marked themes were used more in Persian than in English. However, the differences among the other types were partial. Furthermore, theme variation and their frequency in book and article were examined. In the studied ‘books’ they were used more than the studied ‘article’.
