چکیده

در مطالعه حاضر، تأثیر متغیرهای دانش پیشین و انگیزش خواندن در پیش‌بینی درک خواندنِ زبان‌آموزانِ غیرفارسی در مورد زبان فارسی مورد بررسی قرار گرفت.به این منظور، 42 نفر از زبان‌آموزان سطح پیشرفته مرکز آموزش زبان دانشگاه بین‌المللی امام خمینی در آزمون درک خواندن زبان فارسی و دانش پیشین وانگیزش خواندن شرکت کردند.نتایج تحلیل داده‌ها نشان داد که هر دو متغیر انگیزش خواندن و دانش پیشین رابطه معناداری با درک خواندن داشتند، البته دانش پیشین نسبت به انگیزش خواندن رابطه قوی‌تری با درک خواندن زبان‌آموزان داشت.

چکیده [English]

The present study was conducted to investigate the contribution of prior knowledge and reading motivation variables in predicting the non-Persian learners’ reading comprehension ability. A multiple-choice test and two questionnaires were developed to measure the forty-two non-Persian students’ reading comprehension, prior knowledge and reading motivation. The results of the data analysis indicated that there were significant relationships between reading comprehension and prior knowledge and reading motivation, and prior knowledge was a better predictor for reading comprehension than reading motivation.
